Mid Generalist

House of Echo is partnered with an independent boutique VFX studio in London who is looking for a talented Mid Generalist.

Our client is an award-winning studio specialising in high-end commercial VFX, known for its collaborative culture, long-standing director relationships, and beautifully crafted work. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll have creative input, work across a diverse range of projects, and continue to develop your skills alongside experienced artists.

The Role

We're looking for a versatile Mid Generalist with a strong artistic eye and solid technical ability. You'll work across a variety of commercial projects, contributing throughout the CG pipeline while collaborating closely with the wider creative team to deliver exceptional visual content.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience as a CG Generalist within a VFX or animation studio.
• Strong skills across 3D workflows, including modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and look development.
• Experience with Maya, Houdini, Cinema 4D or Blender, alongside Arnold, Redshift or similar renderers.
• A strong eye for detail, composition and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to manage your workload and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
